Judi Zak was a doting mother, grandmother, fierce intercessor and faithful servant of Jesus. Her heart sought to love and serve others, especially the poor and the needy, and share the good news of Jesus with all she met.

In early 2001, Judi Zak became deeply invested in the work of her dear friend Gertrude Kabatalemwa and her NGO (non-governmental organization) NEEPUganda. She diligently helped raise funds for Gertrude’s primary school in the village of Nyamabuga, located in Uganda. Judi was also a passionate educator, and believed in the Gertrude’s vision of seeing the nation of Uganda and its trajectory change by educating the youth, and training them to eradicate poverty themselves. Her tireless work and devotion helped Gertrude build the school to where it is today.

Judi attended Toledo University where she received her undergraduate degree in Special Education and later a Masters Degree in Education.

In August of 2011, Judi went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior.
