God Uses Ordinary People in Extraordinary Ways: The Legacy of Agnes Irene Numer

God has always used ordinary people in extraordinary ways, and Agnes Irene Numer is a shining example of this.

In 1954, while washing dishes, Agnes experienced a profound moment of divine revelation. “All at once I felt this ‘mighty presence,’” she recalled. “God told me to read Isaiah 58,” a passage that would become the foundation of her life’s mission. And so, the call to serve began…

Born on August 5, 1915, in Racine, Ohio, Agnes I. Numer, known to many as the Mother Teresa of America, dedicated her life to serving those in need. She fed the hungry, clothed the destitute, and showed love to the forgotten and unloved. Through her selfless ministry, she trained countless leaders to spread God’s love to the nations of the world.

In 2010, after 55 years of faithful service Rev. Agnes I. Numer went to be with Jesus the lover of her soul.
